A group of sixth graders holding a mock trial in which they heard opposing arguments for and against the "fact" that global warming is caused by humans, voted that Global warming is NOT caused by humans. It was part of a class in paleontology.
I'm actually on the college mock trial team (though we debate legal-type cases, not global warming) it's a blast (just a side note about your author :-)
It is a sad day when 12 year olds have more sense than people who run for President (Al Gore), or people who are currently senators and representatives... or a bunch of other people.
I still maintain that global warming is caused by a gigantic, gargantuan, massive, super-big, enormous ball of super-heated, flaming, extremely hot gas that (in space-terms), lies not too far from here!!
But that's another story.
